In an era of fleeting digital noise, Latent Image is a return to the tactile. As a photographer and teacher, I’ve spent my life obsessing over the nuances of light, paper, and ink. This subscription is my way of getting those physical artifacts out of my studio and into your hands.

Each month you’ll receive a custom archival print of my choice along with a personal letter, reflecting on life, art, and the process of being a creative or maybe even what it feels like to be someone navigating life more broadly. If you know me, or if you’ve been my student before, this will be an opportunity to reconnect. If you don’t know me, this is a way to find connection where there is increasingly less in our overly digital world.

Why "Latent Image"?

In the darkroom, the latent image is the one that has been recorded but isn't yet visible. It requires a specific process and the passage of time to reveal itself. This subscription follows that same rhythm. It’s a slow-motion conversation about the work of living an intentional life.

I’m not doing this to get rich. Making prints and writing letters takes time, but it’s something that I care about and would like to share with you. It costs real money to create so I hope that you can see the value in receiving hand crafted photographs and personal dispatches from me each month.
